Hi, I always turn to this beautiful community for the answers “the internet” can’t give me. So, I’m in the market for a tablet to take notes but so far my experience has been orrible. I tried an Acer Switch Alpha 12 with an Elan digitizer and active pen. Every time I try to write at normal speed in coursive I get a jumbled mess of lines. I’ve also noticed that Windows (?) makes some weird aliasing of what I write which makes everything worse.
My goal is to find something to comfortably write on. No need to be good for anything else. But I can’t find anyone reviewing those tablets from that stand point. What are your experiences with tablets + note taking? Any suggestion on devices to grab below 600$?
I was thinking about a refurbished iPad Pro first gen but I’m not really sure. Also, for all the calligraphy nerds out there, I use Pilot V5 hi-techpoint pens and 80g/m^2 paper medium roughness. Thanks for all the help!
