Am I correct in understanding that the bulk of opposition to this law is underpinned by vague slippery slope arguments?
I just don’t see the difference between this and “Please enter your age to continue” intersitial pages online. Unless and until this data is verified against some national registry such Social Security in the US, I don’t really see a problem. How such a system could be implemented internationally is unclear.
