So... my CPU is running at 2.804 ghz. Is this normal? its supposed to run at 2.8 flat. The core frequency is at 200.7mhz which resulted in my memory and HT frequency above normal specifications as well. I looked up a few screens on the stock freq of the 7850X2 but all of them are at 2.8ghz flat.
I'm a noob at this stuff but can someone tell me if it's normal or not? please be legit.
normally i wouldn't be worried about this because it seems like im getting 4mhz for free but im planning on upgrading to a Phenom II 955 and i'm not sure if it will cause problems.
It applies to all of the CPUs, you're not alone. It's just that you spend too much time reading out all the settings and frequencies on CPU-Z or elsewhere.

Nice trolling guys. CPUZ generally misses the target by a few MHZ, four won't hurt anything, don't worry about it. As for upgrading to a 955, you're gonna want to make sure you motherboard can tough it. They require 125 watts, as far as I'm aware, most older boards max at 95.
