Hey Guys,
I am having random system freezes where the screen will turn white/grey with vertical lines, occasionally a solid colour, I have to force power down and then often it won't boot with a display, I have to constantly keep messing around rebooting until I get post on screen.
Everything else seems to work fine, all fans, drives, cooler all powered as is the graphics card minus the freeze issue. I will mention that I had just spent around 20 hours previous rebuilding the whole system because the CPU Led was solid red after changing the thermal paste and I couldn't work out the problem, fixed this morning. I had this colour screen freeze issue couple of days before I did a clean.
Basically I need to narrow down what is causing the problem;
- Motherboard
- Power Supply
- GPU
It happens mostly when playing (trying) League of Legends but also happens randomly under normal use like browsing or watching a video although less often. I don't have the funds to go replacing something to find out it's something else and I have no one around I can test my GPU with in another system.
Any ideas please? Below is my spec.
