Synergy on fedora 25

Yo,
So I've been messing around with how my computers are set up and after playing around with the I've set them up as a windows gaming machine and my workstation that i will use for everything else. The issue is that synergy which Im using to share the mouse and keyboard from the fedora machine to the windows machine and my debian laptop, doesn't work. it works fine between the windows and the laptop, but with fedora it just seems to be stuck in the screen. I've tried googling it and what not but i can't seem to find and answer... I've been wondering if anyone else has had this problem or, if it has to be, what Linux OS should i switch to..... anyway that's is a question in and of its self.

Synergy is broken on Fedora 25 right now because they changed to Wayland. I have Synergy Pro so I contacted support when it didn't work after updating to F25. That's what they told me and they offered me a refund since they couldn't tell me when or if it would be fixed.

As work around, you can re-enable Xorg server. They gave me these instructions if you that's what you want instead of waiting for them to updated it.

You can re-enable Xorg as a temporary workaround by editing /etc/gdm/custom.conf and changing line 5 per line 4.

You'll then need to reboot. This has the machine fall back onto Xorg for the session manager.

[daemon]

Uncoment the line below to force the login screen to use Xorg

WaylandEnable=false

Thanks For the info. i'll do that. ah sweet it works

Only problem is that this defeats the purpose of Wayland. You should switch to another distro. Should give arch a try.
