Syba SATA Host Bus Adapters - Whats the difference

I was just about to re-order another 4 port SATA host bus adapter for one of my ubuntu 16.04 home servers, when I saw that there was another one on the same page for over twice the price.

I looked up both on the syba website:

Can anyone point out to me what the killer difference is between the two? As far as I can see they both provide 4 sata ports by connecting to a single PCI-e version 2.0 lane.

the more expensive one has hot swap support meaning you can unplug and attach another drive without shutting down the computer

The controller is the same so they should be the same thing.
