Switching PCs on KVM Occasionally Leads to No Signal

I’ve been having this persistent issue with the Level1Tech Dual Monitor 2 Computer KVM switch.

I’m running the following setup:
M1 Max Macbook Pro → Caldigit TS4 → KVM → (LG 27gn950 + Sceptre 4K)
Custom PC → KVM → (LG 27gn950 + Sceptre 4K)

Occasionally when switching from one PC to the other, the connection to the LG 27gn950 will drop and I only get an image on the Sceptre 4K. Interestingly, when this happens, the windows don’t reposition themselves which seems to indicate that the PC believes both monitors are still connected. Switching between PCs does not seem to fix the issue. Usually when this happens, I power cycle the KVM and the issue resolves itself. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what might be the problem?

I’m running Club 3D cables for all connections with one exception. In the following connection:
Macbook Pro → Caldigit TS4 → KVM → Sceptre 4K
I’m using a 1m USB-C to DP 1.4 cable from Caldigit TS4 → KVM
I’m not using the recommended brand for this type of cable, but I’m not inclined to think this is the problem since I don’t have issues with display on the Sceptre. Additionally, this issue appears when switching to the PC as well which uses only Club 3D cables.

My cables lengths are 1m from PC to KVM and 2m from KVM to monitor.

Did you find what was going on with this? I believe I am having this issue or a similar one with my 2 monitor 2 PC KVM.

Occationally when I switch from PC1 to PC2 and try to switch back to PC1 the monitors will show no signal. Once this happens I can switch to PC2 just fine but nothing I’ve found short of rebooting PC1 can get it back.
