Switching PC via KVM resets refresh rate back to 60hz

I did not have this issue before (I think?), but at some point it started that switching PCs on the KVM resets my refresh rate back to 60hz. So after every switch I need to change it back to 120hz. I am running the 5.10 kernel with NVIDIA 460.32 driver. I switched cables, but no difference.

Has anyone an idea, what I could do to fix this?

EDIT: I have the level1techs DP1.4 KVM Switch (single monitor)

It really depends upon the KVM, even the most basic ones will default back to 60hz after driver updates unless your OS has the manual force mode–some makers you may have to unplug all the KVM cables for 10 minutes to clear whatever glitch it developed.
