Switching from Nvidia to AMD

When installing a new AMD card while a Nvidia is currently installed, what is the best order of doing things?

I was thinking:

1. Uninstall Nvidia Drivers

2. Shut down

3. Switch Cards

4. Turn on

5. Install AMD drivers

6. Overclock

 

Also whats the best way to uninstall drivers and do I have to uninstall afterburner while switching cards or anything weird like that?

i would make sure to uninstall all things doing with the drivers, including additional software that was included, not games, but overclocking tools
