Swapping Motherboard with Dual-Boot

Hi Everyone,

Im currently in the process of building a new rig for myself, with plans of moving the my old hard drives over when the rest of the build is complete. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with swapping motherboard with a dual-boot Windows system?

If it helps, my main OS is Windows 7, alongside Ubuntu 15.04

What exactly did you want to know? If it's not the same hard disk controller on the new mobo count on having to reinstall both OS's.

I'd recommend trying out UEFI mode/rEFInd if you're going to be reinstalling with dual booting in mind.
