Swapping mobo's

Hi, recently I made a post about my system having some sound issues (https://teksyndicate.com/forum/headphones-and-headsets/need-audio-help/186127).

That is the post if anyone would like to refer to it but basically the short story is I need to RMA my motherboard and get a new one, my question is can I replace the motherboard in my system, have everything else the same and NOT have to install windows again, plus keep all my programs ect. I will be getting the exact same model as I had before.

Thanks.

Maybe most likely no .. I had issues with a new Mac number and all my software licences freeked out ..You might need to call Microsoft so they can release your key

if you get the same board new, then there is no problem at all.

You sure? Would really save me a lot of time if I didn't have to, it will be the exact same one (MSI z97m gaming).

Will I need to reinstall drivers ect?

Thanks.

if its the same board, then you have the same drivers, so you dont need to reinstall them normaly.
