Svchost.exe memory leak

I was screwing around in Rigs of Rods (soft-body physics simulation), and Windows (7) notified me that I was low on memory. I have 16GB of ram, so this was entirely unusual. I check task manager and see that svchost.exe was using 14GB of ram, and was consuming more by the second. 

Has anyone else ran into this problem? If so, is there a known cause or fix for it?

Yea, I'm running malwarebytes and super antispyware, and afterwards will run avast. It's about time i did a throrough scan anyways

I scan weekly, first w/ AV, then wih malwarebytes,  then backup about 3 hrs after last scan
