Surface Pro 3

I noticed that the surface pro 3's have a sale on them for like 100 dollars off at the moment. I currently own a galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition, but I want to get a windows device instead of android. My main ? which storage option should I think about getting? I'm leaning 256gb with the i5. I need it to have good battery life and decent storage( although ill be storing most of it either in skydrive or drop box). A lot of reviewers state they wish they would have gone for the higher storage option but the cost seems so steep.

I don't know why you would want to do that, when the experience is much better on the Samsung. the App-Store on Windows isn't there, and Microsoft is most likely going to drop another surface when Windows 10 comes in a few months. and from my experience the hand-writing experience is just better with the Samsung, since the stylus at least is an "Ultra-Fine" point. unlike the surface pen. also when it comes to storage options on the surface pro 3, the SSD is replaceable, but 9 times out of 10 people crack the screen just trying to do it, cause you have to open it a certain way. personally i wouldn't even upgrade, but if you really want a Windows Based Tablet, Dell has the new Venue 11 Pro that just came out, and it's the most upgrade friendly. out of all the windows based tablet's i've seen. most of the parts are replaceable, Wi-Fi card, SSD, and Battery.

I bought an i3 version of this with 6GB of RAM waiting for my 256GB SSD to come in so I can swap it out.

EDIT: forgot to post the link HERE

Everything about the laptop is going pretty good. Unfortunately my 1366x768 panel has horrible color shifting when the screen is not perpendicular to the axis of your eyes. Although its a great compromise to a laptop and tablet. It is around 3 lbs in weight so don't really expect it to lay on your bed holding it up for very long.

1366x768!?!?!

The Resolution from all that is unholy.

I hear if you say 1366x768 six hundred and sixty six times while spinning in circles your PC will blue-screen.

Yes I know I cry myself to sleep every night. I really wanted a place holder laptop for school. I wanted the one from the windows shop. Kind of thinking I should return and get the i5 model with 1080P screen. Or not really worth the trouble?

Don't look at Windows if you wanna look at the "shop".  That's total non-sense.
