I have an XPS 12, the earlier model, and my friend has an extra stylus from his surface pro 4. I've read that the device uses software to register the device since its linked via bluetooth. I wanted to link the stylus to my laptop, yet I cant find anything on the internet about this, which I would have figure other people would have wanted a stylus on a different 2 in 1 laptop. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions and could link to anything helpful.
im sure like most microsoft hardware, you can. they dont usually sell locked worthless stuff
You don't have the necessary components in the screen to enable all of the functionality, so even if you register it with the xps, it won't work as if it was connected to a surface pro 4.
