I have a Supermicro 6028U-TR4T+ server that is pretty dang loud.
I want to make it quieter but Supermicro doesnt list an SQ PSUs for it. I have heard that it is possible to use SQ PSUs in it since the chassis supports SQ models. I am curious if anyone has done this (or the PSU fan mod). Maybe I need a different PDB?
Also, I want to replace the midplane Nidac 80mm fans that run at 7k RPM and generate ~75 CFM @ 53 dBA with something much quieter.

Since the fan curves are not fully configurable on SuperMicro, the U.L.N.A can come in handy.
