Superlux HD668B - Have the wings affected my skull?

Hello you guys, haven’t been to TS in ages.

I bought the Superlux HD668B headphones for just over a year, and I’ve worn them nearly every day for several hours on end. Let me just say that I’ve had no issues with comfort or damage with them (aside from the faux-leather pads cracking and splitting however they still hold together right now.

My big concern about them is that after getting my hair cut short I noticed that I had two inch-wide dips in the top of my head on either side. I assumed they were always there but then I noticed that the dips line up perfectly with the two ‘wings’ that sit on my head when I wear the headphones.

Has anyone else experienced this, is it due to them not being adjusted properly? They haven’t hurt at any point while using them so I just assumed they were set up fine. Could there be any health issues relating to this?

No, you are fine. This is just the skin/flesh on the top of you head being formed to the headphones.

Unless you are 2 years old with a still liquid skull, your head should be fine.

You're fine.

No not belittle the joking, but some soft sponge and springs will not do anything to the shape of bone, especially seeing as it is all ready formed and fused years ago. It is just skin being pressed down, like when I wear my bobbins on my arm it leaves a line around my wrist goes away in a few hours no permanent damage done. It is normal. Just a reaction to the environment, like playing bass will form hard skin on my index and middle finger.
