I just had a particularl theoretical scenario in my mind and I must admit this really made me a bit paranoid.
Several nights ago, I left my L1T mug in the kitchen sink counter, as one does - it is my current favorite, even if it is a bit too big. I think I ate ice cream in it, prior and then when morning comes, it had a cockroach stuck in it, as does rarely happens. So I cleaned it as usual, no problems, no issues. I still use it to this day and it still is my favorite cup.
When I made and poured myself coffee did I realize that, if a cockroach, for some reason, accidentally dropped in my cup of black coffee, I dont think I would see it immediately and may have one too many sips before I realize I have an offending insect in it - or any insect for that matter. I think while a black inner lining/coating/finish would do fine in perceived “cleanliness” in the long run, I think a black outer and white inner lining/coating/finish would be more sanitary (or help with one’s sanity ), don’t you think?
TLDR: I cant see a cockroach crawled into thr L1t mug if the inner lining is black, kindly provide the option of black outer color and white inner color for mugs. Thank you!
My issue is, as I am using my cup (like now when I am typing), it is to my left at another desk not really within my peripheral vision at all times. If a lizard decides to commit suicide by drowning and burning cooking in it as I am typing I wont be able to see because it is pitch black, again because of coffee+black surface color. I have a risk of weird things falling in my cup and no, I cannot put the coffee cup in my desk again, because I seem to have the hand coordination of a toddler and keep spilling stuff in my keyboard.
