Do this. It's the best that I could do without going too over budget. You won't have a CD drive, but you can probably salvage one somewhere.
You can also throw in a dedicated video card/beefier APU when you get extra cash.

More if you have enough money you can do alot with 500
500-700 price bracket is where the value is my friend.
