Sorry but i have no respect for people who break their stuff and then essentially want to pass their mistake off to somebody else. It’s basically fraud/theft.

Pay to play, etc. This is the reason doing legitimate RMAs for broken stuff are often a pain in the ass.

I mistyped. It’s the power pins. Anyway, I found/made a work around after getting over my disappointment and panic. I bought a SATA/power extension and superglued it on. Having both connectors as one piece allowed the missing “eyebrow” above the power pins to not matter as much and there was enough friction from the SATA side to keep the connector tight enough to let the glue work. I just plugged it in and it works perfectly. Looks crappy but I don’t care!
