I'm looking for a studio mic for under $500 it would be preferably a mic with xlr out.If anyone could help that would be great.

I got an At2020 and it has a really good price/performance relation.
Audio Technica is a really good brand and has studio mic for every price range.
There are other brands like Shure and Neumann that are also really good
Shure excels at live mics more than anything.
my choices would be
AKG C400 Large diaphragm muti-pattern
Rode Broadcaster studio condenser mic
and lastly Blue baby bottle

If you're looking for one for creating music I recommend shure, if it's for streaming get a at2020.
