Anyone have suggestions for a decent PC around 1000$ that can stream CSGO at 720p?
go with the 8350 and a gtx 960 they'll be plenty for that.

The 970 has had some controversy around it since the card effectively has 3.5gb's of vram. Although at 1080p this is a non-issue. If you, for some reason wanted to put aside the cards killer 1080p performance due to this issue, then you could go for a R9 290.

offcourse you could tweak it a bit to save money on some parts.
its slightly over budget because of the 2x8GB of ram instead of 2x4GB, But 16GB could be handy wenn streaming in my opinnion. Further i choosed for the intel Xeon 1231V3 cpu, this is basicly an i7 without the igpu, but it has 4 cores 8 threads, and it cost way less then an i7. The only con that this cpu has, is that its not overclockable, but that isnt realy a thing because the intel haswell cpu´s have such a decent per core performance, that this chip will not have any issues with maxing out any single gpu. also 4 cores 8 threads should be no problem with streaming x264
For the GPU i choosed for a Sapphire R9-290 Tri X OC this is basicly a decent card for the money. It will offcourse be a bit overkill for your needs though.
Case i choosed for a nice NZXT case with window, psu does not need any explenation corsair HX650.
Motherboard: i choosed for a more expensive motherboard the Asus H97 pro gamer, because this board offers just a tiny littlebit nicer feutures then cheap H97 boards, like decent onboard audio and what not.
The reason why i did not go for AMD, is basicly because if you are looking for a new system, its not realy worth it, to invest money in a 3 year old dead AMD am3+ platform to be honnest.
Next to that intel haswell cpu´s have better per core performance and better ipc, on which allot of cpu bound games will still benefit from.

I would probably go with a 970 instead of the 290......
depends on what service you will be using to stream. Steam or nvidia. If its nvidia then well, 970. If its steam It is down to if you value lower power draw

I use Shadowplay to record, so I will probably use nvidia. I currently have a Msi gtx 750ti and shadowplay is extremely useful with a lower end card when compared to OBS.
Then go nvidia but I would wait until the new amd cards come out and then pick up a GTX 980 for cheap. get the extra 500MB's of vram

Offcours going with a GTX970 would be totaly fine aswell.
The build looks perfect, but I prefer a more clean simple look with very few colors. Thanks for the thought and the time.
