I started streaming, but my stream was coming out fuzzy, and I was getting pretty bad framerate problems. My friend has the same processor, less RAM, and a GTX 660, but is still able to stream fine. I even tried downgrading to windows 8.1, which is the same OS he has, but it didn't do me any good. What could be causing this problem? Even at a higher bitrate like 3200, I still get fuzzy results. Is there a spec on my computer which is causing this, like maybe my motherboard? Emulating my friend's specs as much as possible, I still don't get nearly as good results.
Res and encoder? Most likely the fuzzy thing is because your bitrate is low, 3200 is a really low bitrate for a fast paced game, you usually need 6000 or more for 1080p on the x264 encoder to be watchable. The frame dropping can be due to your internet.
The settings depend on what encoder you are using and how it is setup. It also depends on what the game is, I don't play League, so I say what settings to use for it.
Uhh, well 1 megabit/second is is equal to 125 kilobytes/second. Soo... 125 times 21... comes out to be 2625 kilobytes/second. You also have to factor in the bandwidth used for the game and other background usage. The most you stream at a decent watchable res is 480p, and possibly 720p. But that depends on who your target audience is, and what the can tolerate.
