Stream music from Galaxy S4 mini to ipod touch 4

Hey everybody.  So I got my new Galaxy s4 mini this christmas, and I keep getting new music on it because it's just so much easier to put music straight onto the device from the web rather than apples mandatory computer sync thing with the ipod.  Because of this, I have a bit of a dilema.  I have this amazing Sony stereo system with an ipod dock on it.  The problem is that 1.  I use the stereo in bed at night to fall asleep and I cant see the little screen from my bed so using the Sony remote that can control my ipod is useless.  And 2. I have all my new music on my phone, and I wanna hear it through the stereo but cant without syncing my ipod to my computer.

So what ive been looking for is a free way to stream music from my phone to my ipod and play it through the speakers.  I can not find anything that streams cross-platform like that!  I know there are bluetooth receivers that I can buy but I want something free and I dont want my perfectly good ipod to go to waste.

Jailbreaking the ipod is not an option.

Any suggestions?

Thanks guys.  By the way, sorry for any misspellings.  I am posting this from my phone and I do not type well on touch screens.

Bump

So, uh...  Nobody has any answers.  Bummer.  This is the last time I'm going to bump the topic, just so that I don't take away from anybody else's spotlight.

Google Play Music. you can stream music form their cloud but u cant store it on an i device because crapple

I have Google Play Music on my ipod, but the only music that shows up is the song that I bought on Play.  I can't stream music through Play.

Try vlc. I'm not sure if vlc is available on the apple network yet, but if it is, all you need is to connect each device to the same local network, enter the hosts IP and click go. I use this function with my cubieboard to make a media box.
