Today i built my verry own pc for the first time, it was a great experience and everything went well.
But, after i installed all the drivers. I went to plug in my headphones to try out the sound quality. This is when the problems started. I started hearing high tone noises, wich look like morse code.. Even if i mute the audio on my desktop the sound doesnt go away.
Could u guys help me, and figure this out? It would be greatly appriciated!
Is it onboard sound or sound card ! intamitant beeps sounds like a grounding issue check all your screws and cables , if you have a Cd drive with a heaphne socket check if that give the same sound while playing a Music cd. Reprt back when done but it may be abother issue which some1 else maybe able to jump in and help ?
Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes they kicked me out of school
Sometimes you can get a static Ground between the case and the MB which can be cuased by a loose connection I.E your connection/wires to the mother board. And if you plug your headphones directly into your Optical drive and listen to a music CD do you still get the sound if not check your case mounts to mother board . As some of the screws on the mother board are desinged to act as a ground to your case i have had a few people build machine and use the red washers on all the mounting screws but it's wrong to use them all, As said some are ment for grounding the board it's normaly the 1,s which have solder marks around the MB mounting holes i have seen people use every washer so the Mother board isnt grounded to the case, Hope it makes sense i have taken my fentanyl so am all over the place "its taken legaly by the way. "I am not a junky PMSL"

It sounds to me as though it is a ground issue somewhere along the way i would try disconnecting everything you do not need I.E GPU Optical drive any other drives connected. Then just start it up with the basic's you need to start it then see if it is still there. If yes i am stuck and maybe someone else can jump in and assist you with the issue

P.S unplug and plug your RAM back in also try moving the RAM blocks around , I have had 1 issue where Ram cuased a wierd fault when i built it.
I had a similiar buzzing noise on high GPU load after moving all of my parts into a new case.
Flip the case on its side, un-tighten all of the motherboard screws, get a small screw driver and only use 2 fingers to tighten them back in. Might not be the same in your case, but it fixed mine.
@jag I took out my optical drive, gpu and network card. I switched my ram sticks around, but still the sound doesnt go away... Now i plugged everything back in, the sound is still there.
But what did u say about the screws? do you use the red washers or not? I tryed a lot of options. Half with washers, half without. One with a washer, rest without. All with washers exept one. All screws with washers. And all without.
After some further checking. I noticed i was getting verry small, barely noticeble, electric shocks from the case, when i hover my hand over it. These schocks correnspond with the `beeps` i hear when i plug in my headphones.
Edit: I also get these `shocks` when i hover my finger above one of the heatsinks on my mobo.
It sounds as if its not grounded somewhere along the line , if you had blown something it would not work plain and simple "unless anyone else can jump in with any other idea's"

P.S also make sure the back plate to the MB is touching everything I.E every compression mount is hitting your outputs & that the plate is also touching bare metal even if you have to scrape a touch of the paint off i mean a touch of paint (just enough for it to ground about this size <--> and that it's making contact).
I just found out, whenever i start my pc. The radio in an other room, at the other side of the house starts to sutter and lose signal. Could it be something with my powersupply then?!
