I love my G13. Especially with my MusicBee, LCDSirReal, and FRAPs applets. It's so much better for my wrists -- as I've mentioned here before, I have pretty severe CTS in both wrists, so any little help is great, and this one isn't little. It's a great little input device.
But it's not working. Today it just seemingly stopped to send keypresses or other input to the game I'm currently playing with it. That's XCOM:EW Long War if you're curious.
Now, I have basically ruled out this being a mechanical problem, like a failed connection or whatever. Not only can I control the LCD and use all those buttons and the M-keys below them, I can use the LGS software heat map tab, without issue. I tell it to start, I press a few keys, I tell it to stop, exactly those keys show up.
I've also doublechecked that the software is not just confused because of the Long War mod (not that it should be), by specifically reassing the profile. However, when I test that profile, again using LGS's built-in functions, nothing happens. The test window works because it'll record my monoprice mouse.
So I'm stuck. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer, and so would my poor wrists.
They are recommending using this driver with Win X...... but a lot of the people were having issues with BSOD and the G13, still might be worth a shot.
Interesting, the only issue that I have had with it is the hat switch. When I set it to be a mouse, that setting will sometimes go to profiles that I never set it on, and stay there even though the profile itself was never changed.
I've now tried making profiles persistent, updating to the latest drivers/LGS, and running LGS as admin both before and after the driver/LGS update. Still nothing.
