Strange behaviour of built-in AX200 card on Gigabyte X570 MB

Hi, I have been swapping hardware recently and the built in WiFi card (intel AX200) of my Auros Master X570 is behaving strangely by not being detected at all depending on the PCIe devices I have plugged in the system.
I have and RX550 and Intel x540-t2 cards in the system and no matter in which slot I plug them the WiFI is not visible.
If I plug a stand alone USB controller in first PICe slot the card appears. Previously when I had A4000 GUP in the first slot with the rest of the cards the WiFi was working fine.
I assume there is some king PCIe initialization issue but no idea how to debug it.
For sure it is not OS issue as when the card it is not detected it is not visible in dmesg or lshw. It looks like it is not installed at all.

Any ideas?

Is the BIOS up-to-date?

you could try plugging everything in after clearing the cmos and eufi.
which will force the board to retrain and issue new irq numbers for the hardware.

it might be 2 bits of hardware have the same irq numbers and conflicting with your existing config.

so yeah try switching off clearing the eufi/cmos, and power off.
plug in the new hardware (use a different slot if you can) then power on and let the eufi retain.
reboot enter eufi and set it up as you want (memory and such)…
reboot and hope your good.

I just updated the BIOS to the latest version. This resets it by default. No change. I will have to try the battery but looks unlikely to help.
