So I used my Samsung 840 to install windows on laptop for my friend and when i plugged it into my system afterwards I had "system reserved" taking up my D drive. It is from the install on the ssd that I have already whipped. Is it okay if I just delete that partition?
It depends on what is in system reserved. sometimes it contains your system recovery options or just drivers. try to see what is in the partition first.
Nothing is visible when i open system reserved, I do have hidden files on as well. However its says that there is 82.6 / 99.9 MB remaining.

You could remove it's drive letter. It won't show up in your Explorer anymore and that will be the end of it. It will still be there but do you really care about 99MB?
