100% consistent, and I can always reproduce it. MPV segfaults in the NVIDIA EGL core shared library and VLC crashes in something OpenGL related. It’s on exit so nothing gained, nothing lost, but incredibly annoying. This is on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
Previously, it was only VLC that crashed on exit after viewing a 360 degree video, now both crash on exit even if you don’t load a video.
I have a very strong feeling this bug is related. Rolled back to 460.91.03 and the problem isn’t there.
No response from Nvidia.

This will never be fixed. No one will debug it and this will be just a brand new annoying bug that will NEVER be solved.
That thread I linked only had one new post made and it was describing that the bug was still there.
Can you imagine telling Apport EVERY TIME to ignore MPV and VLC crashes on a problem NVIDIA introduced and is not the fault of neither MPV nor VLC?
