I've had the steelseries shift for about 7 months now and I've had this problem since day 1, just didn't bother me enough up until now...
So this keyboard has a built in hub with 2 USB ports, 1 audio jack and 1 microphone jack.
The problem here is that one would expect the audio and microphone jacks to act as passthroughs so when they're connected to the PC the speaks still play sound, however when I connect the relevant cables the system recognises it as a device and therefore thinks that there's an audio device connected rather than the passthrough so my speakers stop outputting sound. The jacks on the keyboard work but everytime I've used them I'll have to unplug the audio connection from my PC so that my sound (from the HDMI) can continue to play else it won't
I have the relevant drivers installed from the SteelSeries website for the Shift but there hasn't been a change still the same problem any help!
