I'm interested in Resident evil, Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry series. Any other recommendation based in this type?
Something that has a good story with RPG elements I guess.

Fallout(1,2,3, tactics), borderlands, dead space, dead island(kinda buggy but I completed it), metro games, day z, fear. Thats all I can think of.
