Static noise in my Creative soundcard

I have the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty edition. Sometimes when I listen to music, I get static noise. It's fucking annoying. I am an audiophile and I like my audio to be clear without any noise. Anybody else have this problem? Any solutions to this problem?


(By the way, Creative Labs SUCK COCK! When I first bought this card, it was a bitch to install the drivers. Their drivers were so horrible. I had to reinstall it like 10 times. I finally installed it in safe mode and vista finally detected it as Creative SB X-Fi. This will be the last product I ever buy from Creative. My next soundcard will be from Auzentech or HT Omega.)

Hey Vicious, I bought that same card, reselling for 80 bucks at the moment. It gave me hell on Vista 64 bit (your exact same problem and BSODs off the chain. So I gave up and bought an Auzentech Auzen Prelude. It's like a creative card when it works but the only catch is.... IT WORKS ALL THE TIME. No popping or any gay crap. I'm currently using Dolby DTS with it. Just give up and swap you wont be disappointed.

I only get static noise on music. It's faint but you can definitely hear it. This just recently started happening. I don't have problems with it in games though.


The thing is I just bought this card last month and it came with the Fatal1ty headset for free at newegg.com I sold the headset on ebay so I can't RMA this sound card. I can't afford another soundcard at the moment so I'm kinda stuck with it. The sound quality is amazing and all but this piece of shit still has problems. Fuck creative labs. Never again! I'll swap out another sound card from Auzentech, Asus, or HT Omega on my next build...

That static was suppose "Creative" fix from its previous pci series card.

Mine happen when I'm playing a game that will strain my pc.

It also might happen when u enable sli. (atlest for some people)


Yup, I never want to use another "Creative" product again.

I had problem with most of their sound card including the titanium.

Sadly creative lease EAX 2,3 & 4 to other company (Asus, HT Omega, Auzentech)

So if your looking for the latest tech in audio its "creative"


I think my next sound is Auzentech, Asus, or HT Omega. My onboard x58 is fine but reltek has a F$(k-up microphone volume.
