Starting from scratch, SSD & HDD

I am going to start this post by first admitting that I am newbie to building computers, and I have never used an SSD before. That being said...

I am working on a build that uses the Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM HDD and the Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB SSD.  I want to put the OS on the SSD and everything else on my HDD. I have seen many guides where people want to pull the OS off of an HDD.

I guess what I am asking for is, how do I initially set up my computer with the SSD with the OS and the HDD as my primary drive?

(I have not purchased any of the componants for my computer yet, but I am hoping to get an idea of what I need to do ahead of time, just to make the proccess smoother when it actually comes time for the build.)

Simple select the ssd when installing windows and set it as primary boot drive in the bios and then if your using your HDD for like steam you can select under settings and download+cloud.

as for mass storage ie storing stuff on the HDD instead of the ssd if its stuff like saving pictures from the web just in your browser select that as your primary download drive.

Hope it helped!

Ah okay that makes sense. Thanks a bunch :D
