Starting a YouTube Channel

Hows things. I have a lot of knowledge about computers and i really enjoy other people. So with my spare time i was thinking of starting a YouTube channel on tech. Since i still cant find a job in the industry i figure i may as well ask here

If you've got the spare time, the hardware and ability to produce content, and the motivation to do it ... There's no reason not to. The one thing I can say though is that you're going to want to try to find a unique approach to presenting your content, otherwise you're just going to be another channel covering the same stuff in the same way as everybody else on the internet... And you dont want that.

Before you jump into the fray, do your homework ... Watch other people's channels and see what it is about their videos/content you like or dislike. Ask yourself what you would do to make the experience better for your potential viewers. Dont be afraid to reach out to other people in the community and ask them for advice or collaborate with them in an effort to grow your channel. Exposure is critical for success in the industry.

Another bit of advice I would give is you should start with more than one platform ... Maybe Vessel and Youtube at first. See which one you prefer working with, as well as which platform your viewers prefer, or exist on. Not to mention it's a good idea to keep your eggs in separate baskets.
