What do you guys think of KOTOR 2? Personally I haven't beaten it yet because I picked it up on sale but so far i'm really loving the game! Also, any advice is always welcomed.
It really is one of the good old classics.

What does that mod do exactly ?
thanks for the replies everyone :) I look forward to finishing the game.
Play it without the mod first. Last time I tried that mod it was still a little buggy, it had sections in the game where you could shoot people through walls and other bugs. I don't know if they fixed that but the game is excellent on its own.
Hints:
- Like in real life, characters are usually not who you think they are...
- ...except T3-M4. He's just a robot trying to help out.
- Don't read around too much about the story, it's really a good plot with great pacing and development.
- If you find yourself stuck and must consult a walkthrough, resist the urge to read further than needed. Use the force :)
- Learn pazaak, it's easy money.
- When in doubt, throw a grenade (but be careful).
If I think of anything else, I'll be back...
Enjoy
I just did not like the control scheme for this series. I tried to play but just had to give up on it.
Pretty great game...Much more complex and detailed story than the first KOTOR. Too bad the cuts in the game crippled the story a bit at the end (there is a fan made correction on that maybe you should check it out - that is what the mod refereed above does. Fill in the gap left by what was cut out). Otherwise typical awesome themes and ideas as usually from obsidian...
its a good game, but could be better... content was removed, and not finished in some places... and its visible in the game itself as you play it.
It had the potential to be better than the original KotOR, but it falls short of that because it was released unfinished. However, after you've played it vanilla, play through it with Restored Content Mod (which I've yet to do). I bet this makes it better than the original KotOR. Obsidian had some good stuff planned. I personally would've liked it better than the first one. The story is much darker and nuanced.
I haven't played it in a long time but it was a really amazing game. It came out back when I was in high school when I was THE Star Wars geek at my school. My passion for Star Wars has almost completely died out since then, (I didn't even bother to go see the new movie, I just couldn't motivate myself to care) but I would still love to play through KOTOR 1 and 2 again. I loved the stories and loved it that it made dialogue a part of gameplay, that was revolutionary to me at the time. I wish there were more games like it.
I really appreciate everyone's opinion on KOTOR2. I just reinstalled it and now I have to restart it all over again because steam did not save my game on the cloud which sucks so bad. #FIXPLS
Hey guys, just curious here, what faces do you choose for your character in each game? When I first started up KOTOR 1 I was all fired up to choose a male character and I cycled through all of the faces and went "... I don't like any of these..." Then I went through all the girl faces and didn't like most of them, but went with the only one I liked, the one with short dark hair that kinda covers one eye. I didn't like it at first, but as I went through the game, I realized that I liked the story better and it made more sense to me having Revan as a woman character.
For KOTOR 2 I go with the guy with the Obi-Wan-Jesus beard.
I just picked the youngest looking black guy, because that's what I am :) <3 Black Lives Matter LMFAO
I still haven't gotten to the Steam version that I bought years back, played through so many times on Xbox.....
Interested to see what that mod has to offer though.
