I just got to play this game and its fantastic. it kinda works like Ascension in how you buy cards but players have health and you use cards to damage other players. its a 2 player game but has some extended rules to include more players (up to 6) and there are 5 diffrent multiplayer rule sets. They also have the game available on PC or mobile.
