Star Citizen's funding ended today with a total of $6,238,563 between the Roberts Space Industries site and kickstarter (additional money has been pledged since). Star Citizen has raised more money via crowdfunding than any other game project in history, by over 2 million dollars.
Chris Roberts has said that they will provide updates to the game's progress as often as possible, but there will be no playable alpha for another 12 months.
