Just wondering if Java has ever been included with Ubuntu. Not OpenJDK, just regular Java. If so, I am wondering what the last version of Ubuntu to include Java was.
Looks like it has. As far as I have checked, version 7.10 was the last to include the standard version of Java.
7.04 included J2SE 1.4 and 7.10 included J2SE 5.0.
The next versions, 8.04 and 8.10, do not appear to have included Java.
