Okay I am a newb with Linux. I just setup an ipfire router to fool around with and I am having issues. I can SSH into the router with PuTTy and login. I need to get into the /ect/ folder to modify a config file to turn on UPnP. When I type ls the only folder I see is "ipfire" when I try to cd /ipfire/ or cd /ect/ it says no such file or directory?
I'm lost.
cd /etc/ipfire
starting a path with / is kinda like saying C: in windows, so when you tried to cd /ipfire you were trying to go up a directory.
Additionally make sure you're tying the name correctly. The directory is called /etc (not ect).
