I have some family currently in the USA (I am from the UK) and I would like to take advantage of the low prices but I am worried about the warranty if it should get a fault in a few months/years.
So my question is, does anyone know of any companies that have decent SSD's that come with international warranties?
Have somebody in your family to buy the drive. Take it back with you and if it's faulty just ship it back and have them give it in. No need to let the company know that the SSD was overseas.
As far as I'm aware, any SSD made internationally, then sold internationally, has an international warranty. But if you want an SSD with extremely low failure rates I will always recommend the Samsung 840 Pro in 256GB size or larger.
