So i was just wondering since i am going to be building a computer in a couple of months, is there really a need to buy and SSD?
I mean, if i drop the 120GB SSD i could afford a 2 or 3 TB harddrive instead of 1 TB for less the price. So please tell me if there is a big advantage to go with an SSD. c:
You can have you OS on the SSD which allows for faster booting of your PC and any other programs you have on it. You really do not need more than 1 TB unless you record and edit videos.
I run nothing but SSD's now, will not go back.
Do you need it? No. Worth it? Absolutely.
All my systems run ssd's now, bought two Adata 512's for my gaming rig and a crucial 256 for my ultrabook. I can never go back to mechanical hard drives accept for backup and network drives
