SSD os instal help

so I picked up a 120Gb ssd here the bullet point issues
- using an Asrock 990FX extreme3
- UIFE bios management shows the SSD
- windows bootable USB does not see the SSD
- created the USB with intent to instal on a UIFE system (formatted as FAT32 not NTSF)
- tried shift+F10 do get to CMD and use Disk Part to view drive but only my USB was shown as Disk 0

I have no other PC to just format the drive, other than my iMac, which only has one slot for a drive so I'm in the same boat.

Any help here... I'm stumped and tired, but my ego wont let me go to bed till I fix this.

Thanks.

Isn't that nicer to read?

Are there any other drives plugged into the motherboard?

idk i have had problems with windows detecting raid cards and some raid arrays but never with a single drive but maybe it is a driver(software) try loading some drivers. But if your imac did not see the drive it might be the drive itself. Also make sure you have the proper hard drive move selected on your mobo ie. ahci or raid or ide

meh. i was on my phone so the format got messed up.

no other drives are on the mobo and is set to ahci.

I'm working on getting the bootable usb set up on NTSF this time around to see if windows will see it. Idk if there will be a difference though.
