I am looking at the adata sp 900. Would it be better to get x1 256gb SSD or x2 128gb SSD's and put them in RAID? also what raid should i put them in and why? it is also $10 cheaper for the 2 128gb, but this isnt a big deal. thanks
There isn't much point RAIDing SSDs unless you want redundancy. And then you're sacrificing capacity to do that. There isn't much of a performance boost when you RAID SSDs.
I would just grab a single 256GB. Plenty of performance and good capacity.
Had the exact same question. I think I'm going with 1 256gb drive though.
