out of curiosity, do you have to do a read/write/read to refresh the speed with Sentinel or would just a surface read suffice? I am completely new here and my first SSD drives are starting to encounter drive speed issues. I have had some SSDs for years but I’m now doing a backup on a 1TB drive WD Blue and it is targeting 100 hours for completion with speeds in the 3-5MB/s range. It does have a few speed bursts but this is dismal. This spawned the search and I found this thread. Cheers.
