SSD Cache Drive for AMD 990FX Motherboards

I'm curious to know if it's possible to setup a SSD Cache drive on my MSI 990FXA-GD65 Motherboard.  I have 2x 128GB Vertex4 SSDs in a RAID0 for my OS drive, and wanted to split that and use 1x SSD for a cache drive.  I saw Logan's video "Build an Epic $3200 PC" and he mentioned using an SSD for a cache drive, but that was in Intel build.  Is there an alternate solution for AMD builds? Thanks

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

There are dedicated cache SSDs that come with their own caching software. Intel has it's own caching solution, which AMD doesn't have, so if you want caching on AMD, I think the best route would be a dedicated caching drive.

Alternatively, you can play around with Windows Ready Boost, and see if it will work with secondary drives, but I have my doubts.

Oh well... I guess I'll buy a dedicated cache drive and save this SSD for something else. Maybe a dual boot or something. Thanks for your help.

Only on Intel boards so far, so your SOL as far as using it as a cache drive on that mobo.
