This week, we asked Google if they could provide an update on the situation, since mid-2018 feels like forever ago. In response, Google tells us that the plan really is to still replace Google Play Music with YouTube Music.
Not the first time google replaces something decent with a worse option, see hangouts.

Oh that looks pretty cool. Iāll definitely look into it.
In the US, itās illegal to do that on ham frequencies.
You technically need to get a license to do that on fm freqs, and pay the proper royalties.

Or you could do it from a moving van and be a pirate radio station and fulfill your dream of becoming a eadio dj/ttalk host and take song request from your relatives

Spotify will start offering a āHiFiā-option later this year. Maybe that is something to consider. I know Iām looking forward to that
