I’m trying to set a sys fan based on GPU temp as shown in this JayzTwoCents video. SpeedFan does not recognize anything on my MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard.
Doesnt the software suite from msi for your motherboard include any fan control software?
Doesn’t look to be anything that let’s me set a fan curve based on GPU temp.
What version are you running? V4.52 added support for a lot of chipsets.
EDIT: nevermind, last release 2015. I would call speedfan an unsupported software.
Let me see if I can find you another solution.
EDIT: Yeah, I can’t see a solution from a third party. Check MSI Command Center? That’s the only thing I would think that would be able to help. (I don’t have access to a windows box to install the tool and check at the moment)
Maybe you could try Msi Afterburner.
This is an gpu overclocking tool, not sure if you can do fan control aswell.
But i think you can.
Fan control for motherboard fans, should be in the software suite for the motherboard.
