I have been watching Massdrop, along with traditional sites for what I feel is good priced keyboard I prefer 50$ but woudl go 100$ for everything being just how I want it LOL. I am beginning to wonder am I the only person with this certain keyboard desire at below 100$. I am not a keyboard elitist, but accustomed to a certain type of typing so first off I don't want Chiclet I like raised good raised keycaps, what I consider long time standard keycaps.
I would say I want either tradition membrane variations in most keyboard before the mechanical craze over the last couple years or equivalent to cherry MX RED or Blacks. I don't want noise and don't need feed back or certain actuation points. I have been using either type writer, commodore 64 or cheap /typical keybards that I nabbed from spare pre builds ordered at work for I guess 30 years or so now.
I had one time the Sytek (pre madcatz) eclipse II that I really liked but some keys stopped working. So currently stuck with an HP keyboard from one of the purchased prebuilts from work.
so membrane or black / red switches
standard keycaps.
and BackLit for when its night in my dark office keyboard finding LOL. (I don't care the color)
and tenkeyless tired of long keyboards when I rarely ever using the Keypad.
