Source for Screens and Digitizers, suggestions?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone had some advice/experience with repairing phones with broken screens/digitizers. I notice that amazon is a big one for most of the people I talk to, but I wanted to get some information from some tinkerers.

Im currently working on an old Samsung S3 and an Asus Zenfone 2 laser. For the Asus, the screen/digi combo goes for $30-$40 USD and has a replacement guarantee if things work out, but I am still waiting on the heatgun to come in.

So where do you source your stuff from? Any suggestions on clear warning signs that something may be sketch?

Ebay. You can get alot of parts from ebay.

Things to watch out for would be a lack of information on the product itself.

Yup, have done with 6 phones

Some even come with all the tools needed (minus the heat gun) to replace whatever
