Sound quiet in Windows?!

So, on Windows my sound is super quiet on my headphones (speakers are just fine). I tried reinstalling the IDT driver but got nothing. I tried setting the speakers/headphones as default, nothing. The headphones work fine on Linux, just not on Windows... The headphones are Beats Studios (they were free), and the laptop is a Dell Latitude E5530.

Check that windows is not limiting volume because an input device was detected.

That was it :). Thank you. I'm not familiar with Windows as I've used Linux. Seems like a stupid way of handling audio, but hey, its Windows...

Np.  Glad I could help.

It's back! The headphones work fine if I boot with them plugged in, but if I remove them, then plug them back in the issue comes back. They work fine under openSUSE (Linux). Any further help would be appreciated. It's not the jack as Linux works just fine, and it's not the headphones; I've tried multiple. Why can't this be as easy as 'zypper in alsamixer' (I believe)?? Oh yeah, it's Windows :).
