Alright ive been using the onboard audio and its not cuttin it. Ive been doin some research on my own but i want to know some good reliable sound cards under $200. It has to be pci because my only pci-express slot is covered by my 9800gtx. Any ideas?

ive been hearing mixed reviews from creative. there are some people who swear by their cards but there are others who want nothing more than to burn creative's cards
and also since i have a 780i from evga it has to be a pci card since my 9800 gtx covers up the pci-express slot
You won't notice shit unless you have a descent set of speakers.
im gonna get the logitech g51 speakers and the sound card at the same time
"HT Omega Claro" or the PCI-e version (Claro +), I've never heard a seriously bad or hatefull review of these cards. The new X-FI cards still have problems with vista. Mine had problems running in 64 bit Vista and randomly output nasty feedback and forces me to restart. This is rare for me but when the problem reaches my last nerve the Claro is my go to card.
due to the fact that i like gaming i dont know about the claro
fuck soundblaster! i bought a card from them and it worked for like 2 seconds then went dead and their tech support basically told me to piss off. never buying another product from them.
